He joined Instacart in 2015 and has spent over a decade building and scaling the company's commercial organization. He has held a series of roles of increasing responsibility, including Senior Director of Business Development and Vice President roles spanning New Verticals and Retail Partnerships — developing Instacart's relationships with retailers and partners across North America.

Prior to joining Instacart, Hamburger was at Bain & Company, where he served as a Consultant and Case Team Leader advising retail and consumer packaged goods clients.
